MP Uganda, as part of the Letshego Group, also works towards making relevant and notable contributions to the social development agenda in the areas of education, culture and arts, welfare and poverty alleviations, environment and HIV/AIDS sectors. This was achieved in the last year through support to HIV / AIDs programs in Kampala.
MP Uganda commenced its CSR activities with a much-needed contribution towards nutritional support for Policemen living with HIV / AIDS, given during a colorful event at Alive Medical Services Clinic in Kampala. Alive Medical Services is a clinic that provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS treatment, supported by a Nutritional Program necessary for those on the rigorous HIV/AIDs ART. MP Uganda was able to provide financial support sufficient to feed 45 police families for a period of 4 months.
The MP Uganda staff happily contributed to this through preparing the monthly food packages for the police families.
The nutritional support was also extended to HIV positive Uganda Police Force members that are members of the Police Support and Home (POSH) Network. The outreach activity was graced by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Major General Kale Kayihura, (national head of Uganda Police Forces) who was the Guest of Honor for the day.
