Purpose of the Job:
The Electronic Channels Analyst is responsible the implementation, operation, maintenance,
administration and support of all Group users on the electronic banking channels including but not limited to ATMs (Card management systems, Internet Banking, Mobile banking, Agency banking, Enterprise Service Business) by working with the business to analysis business requirements, provide technical expertise and ensure the availability, security and stability of the group’s electronic channels
 
Principal Accountabilities:
System Administration and Report Development
• Keep up to date with the various channels’ architectural components, transaction processing workflow at the components / database objects level, front end functionality and back end objects.
• Perform Electronic Channel parametrization requests raised by the parametrisation committee as well as a periodic parametrisation changes like product set up, fee set up etc.
• Organize a thorough verifications/tests of a sent by vendor solutions in UAT environments before deploying to production and only upon authorisation by Business support management.
 
Monitoring and Processing
• Participates in Disaster Recovery processes including restoration procedures (test/live) in accordance with approved plans.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
 
Project execution
• Completes tasks as assigned by the Innovation department, Group Electronic Channels Manager or Project Managers to ensure that projects are completed within set deadlines.
 
Governance
• Adheres to strict governance procedures when executing his/her job responsibility including but not limited to security, change control, administration, segregation of duties , batch processes etc.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4-5 years specialized experience in telecommunications, banking or financial services industry managing digital products and related technologies. Proven ability to use and manage e-banking technologies and analytics to drive business decisions.
• Experience defining and delivering mobile initiatives including requirements gathering, testing and support.
• Basic software development skills will be an added advantage.
