Gorata Tlale Dibotelo is the Group Chief Legal Officer and Board Secretary of Letshego Africa Holdings, a pan-African financial services group operating across eleven countries. She brings over 15 years of experience as a qualified legal practitioner, with deep expertise across legal, regulatory, compliance, and governance disciplines.
- Gorata as the principal legal advisor to Letshego Group, providing both strategic and operational oversight on legal, regulatory, compliance, and governance matters across diverse jurisdictions.
- She provides company secretariat services to the Group Board, ensuring effective governance structures aligned with applicable legislation, recognised principles of corporate governance, and international best practice.
- Gorata advises the Group Board, sub-committees, senior management, and key external stakeholders on legal and governance matters, supporting informed decision-making and institutional accountability.
- She has served as Head of Legal Services & Board Secretary, Botswana Stock Exchange, Associate Attorney at Armstrong’s Attorneys, Part-time Lecturer at the University of Botswana
