Introduction
To coordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing, reporting and ensure compliance to statutory deductions and administration of employee benefits and delivering an accurate payroll to employees across the Group.

Specification
•Responsible and accountable for processing multiple payrolls accurately and on time
•Supervise the Payroll Team to ensure that payments are paid accurately and on time, ensuring timely outcomes to queries
•Administer benefit plans for the Group
•Ensure that third party payments are handled effectively and efficiently
•Manage third party system provider to ensure the payroll system is updated and operating as expected
•Check and audit all payrolls, ensuring appropriate approvals and controls are in place to comply the Group’s processes and in-country labour laws and regulations
•Provide technical guidance to Human Capital teams on all payroll matters
•Administer and reconcile all statutory payments/deductions
•Calculate, pay and reconcile payroll tax for different countries
•Review payroll account reconciliations
•Work closely with financial controllers to develop detailed variance analysis.
•Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing records
•Prepare relevant monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
   
Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Capital Management or equivalent
•At least 7 years of experience in payroll of which 3 years at management level. .
•Experience in managing a centralized payroll system in Group structured organization
•Comprehensive working knowledge of complex payroll functions and systems
•Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and tools
•Full understanding of country labour laws and regulations
•Strong technical knowledge and proficient with MS Office Applications
•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential material
•Excellent written and verbal communication, with focus on customer service
•Strong analytical numeracy skills with a bias for problem solving
