Job summary:
To spearhead development of transactional company solutions and channels for consumers, the MSE market and growing overall transaction company revenues in line with the Company’s strategy.
 
To provide strategic management, by identifying business growth opportunities (new markets, new products and new services) and deliver those through the design of the most cost effective delivery channels appropriate to the respective segment and through building the necessary capacity within the organization. 
 
To promote and drive innovation across the bank.
 
To develop appropriate marketing strategies and objectives for marketing and selling the organization's products and services. 
 
Further the incumbent will be jointly responsible with the other SMT members for all operations of the institution.
 
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
1) Graduate from a recognized and well established University.
2) Knowledge of banking channels, marketing conditions, the local market and banking trends.
3) A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the financial services industry of which at least 5 years in a management role.
4) A minimum of 3 years’ experience in senior management role in relationship management/ banking, operations, product development or sales.
5) Strong Sales and customer oriented and visionary leadership ability.
6) Ability to identify business growth opportunities and make informed decisions.
7) Advanced analytical skills, with an ability to research and synthesize information and broad ranges of Group Strategies.
8) Ability to think “out of the box”.
9) Deep understanding of the role of Human Capital in delivering business goals and objectives.
10) Proven team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
11) Ability to build relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
12) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
13) Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
14) Highly computer literate in excel, word power point etc.
15) Ability to support the country team in raising staff engagement.
