Reports to:  Head: Human Resources 
 
Purpose of the Job:
To  deliver a wide range of Human Resources advisory, consultation and administrative services to Letshego Bank Namibia and ensure general welfare of staff.
 
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Provides advisory and consultancy service to staff and management on a range of HR related policies, processes and procedures. 
  • Advises employees on the interpretation and application of relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures HR Information Systems are running and updated. 
  • Prepares HR Reports on a monthly basis.
  • Effectively provides the following Human Resources functions: Recruitment, Payroll management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employment Equity and Employee Relations.
  • Checks and verifies the work of the Human Resources Assistant: Payroll and Benefits.
  • Must have knowledge of the Namibian Labour Act and other employment related acts.
  • Ensures exit interviews and clearance procedures are done.  
  • Advises on application of terms and conditions of employment including disciplinary hearings providing advice on process and procedures.
 
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
  • Grade 12 with 25 points 
  • A University Graduate ( B-degree in the Human Resources Field).
  • A minimum of four years experience in Human Resources Development and Management.
  • Proven team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong Computer Literacy in Excel; word, power point etc.
  • Code BE drivers’ licence is a requirement
  • Willingness to work odd hours if and when required.
