75% of Advans Bank Tanzania is acquired

During the same period as the FBN MFB acquisition, we closed another deal to acquire a controlling stake in Advans Bank Tanzania, a commercial banking subsidiary of Advans Group, focused on microfinance banking. With agency banking, mobile banking, and having received Bank of Tanzania approval to use Faidika's existing 105 branch network as agency points, Advans Bank Tanzania provides potential for Letshego to accelerate the financial inclusion agenda in the country.
