Job Position: QUALITY ASSURANCE CLERK
Reports to: SUPERVISOR QUALITY ASSURANCE
 
Purpose of the Job:
The Quality Assurance clerk in the Quality Assurance department is responsible to ensure that Loan Vetting and Approval is done accurately and in a timely manner.
 
Key Accountabilities:
1. Enhancing Customer Experience
  • Ensure that daily refunds are prepared and sent payment advices for checks and approval to supervisor.
  • Daily investigate all refunds request to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Finance Department with obtaining client correct bank details.
  • Review refund suspense accounts report for action.
  • Attend to telephone enquiries from clients.
 
 
2. Operational Risk
  • Assist the collection department in identifying closed accounts with active deductions
  • Maintain weekly recons of the refunds suspense accounts as assigned.
 
 
3. Business Process Enhance / Process Innovation
  • Participate in the  continuous assessment and improvement of business processes, moving towards ‘Automated processes’ (eForms, eReports)
 
 
4. Business Continuity Management
  • Understand and participate in the action plan implemented to meet the company Health and Safety strategies and action plans aimed at mitigating the health and safety risk within the organization.
 
 
5. People Management
  • Responsible for own personal development.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews as per the agreed timeframes/deadlines.

8. Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
 
  • Must have grade 12 with minimum 25 points
  • Must have at least one year work experience
  • Must be PC Literate
  • Must have excellent communication skills, attention to details and be able to multitask.
