• Tshephang Loeto has over 16 years’ experience in the financial services sector, with extensive expertise in investment and asset management gained through senior leadership and governance roles.
• He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Botswana and has passed the CFA Level I examinations with the CFA Institute. His professional qualifications include an IISA Certificate in Short-Term Insurance Proficiency and Practice and a Yield and Swap Curves certification from Geometric Progression. He has completed John Maxwell leadership training and is a member of the Institute of Directors Southern Africa, currently working towards certification.
• He currently serves in the Office of the Chief Investment Officer at the Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF).
• His governance experience includes serving as Vice President of the Botswana Bond Market Association and holding directorships on several corporate boards in Botswana, including multinational entities. His expertise spans audit, finance and investment, credit, risk management, compliance, and board oversight.
