Job Description
Position: BRANCH MANAGER
Reports to: CEO - LMFSN
 
Purpose of the Job:
1. Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the branch and assisting the Head of Financial Inclusion with managerial and administrative functions.
2. Manage communications between subordinates and senior management.
3. Provide support, guidance and staff training.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Maintain communication between branch and CMC by preparing daily, weekly and monthly feedback sessions
2. Formulate recommendations and provide feedback to management regarding operational policies and procedures
3. Exercise control over audits by ensuring compliance to internal controls.
4. Provide training to staff in regard to operations and policies
5. Coach staff to fulfil business plans and goals
6. Monitor quality of service of all staff and ensure that employees are seizing opportunities to sell products optimally
7. Assist in evaluating staff’s work performance by helping to prepare and deliver annual reviews and conducting coaching sessions
8. Assist in managing the security and safety of the branch in line with security and safety policies and procedures
9. Assist in the recruitment of new branch staff
10. Formulate sales campaigns to drive sales initiatives by setting weekly targets for to frontline sales staff
 
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
1) Grade 12 (25 points)
2) Related degree/diploma would be an added advantage
3) Related experience in customer service and sales would be an added advantage
4) Computer literate
5) Fluent in English (speak and writing)
6) No criminal record
7) Has at least 3 years’ experience in banking/lending environment
