Introduction
Define and drive all types of partnerships (e.g. fintech, telco, etc) to scale distribution and reach at the Group and geography level

Define set of strategic principles to guide all partnerships (e.g. partner covers non-existing internal capabilities, introduces technical needs, leverages scale of the Group)
Define critical partnerships for Letshego to execute
Devise deal rationale and partnership creation levers, target description, screening and long-list of potential opportunities; conduct financial assessment
Prepare negotiations with potential partners
Monitor success of existing partnerships and assess results vs. forecast
Support post-partnership interactions
Review existing partnerships to for profitability and commercial viability
As a part of the strategy team, support Chief Corporate Development Officer to drive implementation of corporate strategy in a form of actionable strategic initiatives, take leadership of initiatives related to Partnerships
   
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent with a post graduate certification
10+ years’ experience preferably in banking or fin tech space
10 years in a senior management position
Demonstrated experience and expertise in driving rapid and successful partnership initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading major performance uplift efforts in corporations or divisions
Demonstrated track record of building strong trust-based counselling relationships with line managers, senior executives and industry entities
Excellent communication skills especially with all levels
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proven in a large, high-paced programme environment
Excellent observation, negotiation, persuasive and decision making skills
Excellent strategic thinking and strategic planning skills
Excellent leadership skills in building, developing and managing a strong Partnerships offic
